July 28 - Clifton Brown Qualifies as Unaffiliated Candidate for US House; Timothy M Veldhuizen does not

Denver, July 28, 2026 - The Elections Division of the Colorado Secretary of State's Office announced today that Clifton Brown, Unaffiliated candidate for United States House of Representatives, District 3, has submitted the required number of signatures to appear on the November 3, 2026 General Election ballot, and that Timothy M Veldhuizen, Unaffiliated candidate for United States House of Representatives, District 4, has not.

Unaffiliated Candidates for United States House of Representatives are required to collect a minimum of 1,500 valid signatures within their district pursuant to C.R.S. 1-4-802(1)(c)(III). Clifton Brown submitted 1,809 valid signatures, eclipsing the 1,500-signature threshold. Timothy M Veldhuizen submitted 1,310 valid signatures, failing to meet the 1,500-signature threshold.
