MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The National Cotton Council (NCC) applauds the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) announcement of investments through the Fertilizer Investment & Expansion for Long-Term Domestic Supply (FIELDS) Program.

"We thank Secretary Rollins, USDA, and the Trump Administration for recognizing the importance of a strong, affordable, and reliable domestic fertilizer supply," said NCC Chairman Nathan Reed. "Cotton producers depend on access to economical and reliable crop inputs to remain competitive. Investments that support capacity and improve the resiliency of agricultural supply chains are important to the long-term success of our producers."
