Tajani signs the agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Unioncamere to support the internationalisation of businesses

This afternoon at the Farnesina, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, will sign a Framework Agreement with the President of Unioncamere, Andrea Prete, aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Italian Chamber of Commerce system in support of the internationalisation of Italian businesses.

The agreement will recognise Unioncamere as one of the key players within the 'Sistema Italia' initiative for export growth and will aim to involve an ever-increasing number of businesses in Italy in processes designed to facilitate their entry into and consolidation in foreign markets, whilst making the most of the presence of the Chambers of Commerce across the country and the network of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad.

Unioncamere will contribute its knowledge of the national business landscape and the export potential of different regions, whilst the Ministry will involve the Italian Chamber of Commerce system in institutional and economic missions and in programmes to promote internationalisation.

The signing ceremony will be attended by the President of Assocamerestero, Mario Pozza; the Secretary-General of Unioncamere, Giuseppe Tripoli; representatives from ITA, SIMEST, SACE and CDP; and, joining remotely, the Italian Chambers of Commerce.
