Traffic Impacts Expected Monday (11/3) for Crane Demobilization Near Spokane City Hall

SPOKANE, WA Oct 31, 2025: The rock relocation project at Monroe Street Dam has been completed. The crane that was used for that work will be transported out of the project area on Monday, November 3rd. Traffic will be impacted on several streets in downtown Spokane throughout the day on Monday, November 3rd.

Spokane Falls Blvd. will be closed between Post St. and Lincoln St. from 4:30 AM to 7:00 PM. All street parking will be closed on Spokane Falls Blvd. between Post St. and Lincoln St.

Spokane Falls Blvd. will be reduced to two lanes between Stevens St. and Post St. Local traffic will still be able to turn north on Post St. to park at meters and/or have access to cross the Post St. bridge. Thru traffic will be detoured south at Howard St. The parking garage at River Park Square will maintain access to the entrance and exit.

Traffic control personnel will be in place throughout the crane demobilization process to assist drivers and ensure safety.
