Public Hearing Notice: 9/22 Planning Commission

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Pittsburg will conduct a public hearing in the City Council Chamber at City Hall on October 27, 2026, at 7:00 PM concerning the following item(s):

24-Month Time Extension Request for "LMK Petro, AP-16-1189EXT."

Application to allow a 24-month time extension of approval of Use Permit and Design Review for new construction of a Gasoline Sales and Service Station with ancillary uses including an Automated Car Wash and Convenience Store on a five-acre parcel located at 1625 Buchanan Road. The proposed project is located in the Community Commercial General Plan classification and Community Commercial (CC) zoning district. Assessor's Parcel No. 088-030-021.

Environmental Determination: Pursuant to Section 15601(b)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines, the proposed time extension is covered by the commonsense exemption that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. The proposed 24-month time extension of a previously-approved project with no changed circumstances or new information is not expected to have a significant effect on the environment.
