State v. Hepay Juma Indictment

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella announces that the Hillsborough County Grand Jury in Manchester, New Hampshire has returned an indictment against Hepay Juma, age 26, in connection with the suspicious death of a female infant found deceased in Pine Island Pond in Manchester on March 27, 2025.

Hepay Juma has been indicted on one count of Second-Degree Murder for recklessly causing the death of Baby Jane "Grace" Doe, her child, under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life.

Ms. Juma is scheduled to be arraigned on this charge on July 16, 2026 at 11:00am in the Hillsborough County Superior Court - Northern District.

The charge and allegation against Hepay Juma is merely an accusation, and she is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
