Statesboro: Road closure scheduled on bypass
Statesboro, Ga. - US 25 Bypass/Veterans Memorial Parkway is scheduled to close at the railroad crossing just west of US 301 on Thursday, March 5 at 7:00 a.m. Georgia Southern Railway has informed Georgia DOT of a need to close the crossing for railroad grade crossing improvements. Work is expected to be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6.

Detour Route:
Traffic will detour 3 miles northbound on SR 73/US 301/US 25/S. Main St. to SR 26/US 80/SR 67/Northside drive, then turn left. Traffic will travel west on SR 26/US 80/SR 67 for 2.1 miles to SR 25BY/SR67BY/US301BY where the detour ends.

Please note, work schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
