Sage Bakehouse Brings Beverages and Tasty Snacks to Sawyer Camp Trail, Nov 8 & 15

November 3, 2025

Visitors to the Sawyer Camp Segment of Crystal Springs Regional Trail are in for a treat Sat., Nov. 8 from 8 a.m. to noon, when the Parks Department welcomes Sage Bakehouse to sell hot and cold drinks, pastries, and best of all, their individual savory pies. Trail visitors can find the Sage service truck at the trail's South Gate at Crystal Springs Road and Skyline Boulevard. Sage Bakehouse is a Montara based purveyor known for its New Zealand style hand-held pies.

San Mateo County Parks continues to explore ways to enhance park visitor experiences. The Sawyer Camp Segment of the regional trail is highly popular, especially on weekends when families and friends meet up to start their day with a hike or bike ride. Often, visitors bring beverages and snacks to enjoy at the start, end or during their trail visit.

Sage Bakehouse will return Nov. 15, 8 a.m. to noon. Service may be extended if sales warrant additional dates.
