Lane and ramp closures on I-29 and I-70 in Jackson County for signage work, TON…

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct signage operations on I-29 and I-70 resulting in ramp and lane closures. All work is weather permitting.

See below for traffic modifications:

TONIGHT, Thursday, April 2 at 8 p.m. until Friday, April 3 at 4 a.m.

  • Crews will CLOSE the ramp from Independence Ave to I-35 southbound.
  • Crews will conduct lane closures on eastbound I-70 at 12th
  • Crews will conduct lane closures on northbound I-29 near Independence Ave.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
