EBT Informational Notice - Fake EBT Edge App Targeting Cardholders
CDSS has become aware of a third-party mobile application, Ebt edge - food stamps, available in the Apple iOS App Store. This app mimics the official FIS ebtEDGE Mobile App and charges users a $4.99 weekly fee or $60 for lifetime access.
Do not download or use this app. California will never charge EBT cardholders to use the official EBT app: FIS ebtEDGE app. To protect customer benefits and personal information, please continue to recommend that customers use the official, state-supported app only. Thank you for your attention to this risk and your partnership in protecting the integrity of California's EBT system.
