The City of Tampa offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2025, in observance of Independence Day.
The revised collection schedule is as follows:
Residential Customers who normally receive service on Friday will not receive garbage, recycling, or yard waste service. There will be no make-up day for Friday customers. Trash collection will occur on the next scheduled service day. Regular residential collection service schedules will resume on Monday, July 6, 2026.
Commercial Customers who normally receive service on Friday will not receive collection on Friday, July 3, 2026. Commercial customers will resume collection on Monday, July 6, 2026, with a one-day delay through Saturday, July 11, 2026. Regular collection service schedules will resume on Monday, July 6, 2026.
McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House located at 114 S. 34th St., will be open Friday, July 3, 2026 and will close at noon. The facility will be closed on Independence Day (Saturday, July 4, 2026) and will reopen with regularly scheduled hours on Monday, July 6, 2025.
