The next City of Yuma Public Auction will take place on Saturday, October 18, at 9 a.m. at the City's surplus property yard (190 W. 14th Street).
Up for bids will be a wide variety of items, including vehicles, bicycles, electronics, desks, office chairs, watches, jewelry, tools, scrap metal, industrial pumps, industrial light fixtures, HVAC units, copiers, and other miscellaneous goods.
Most auction items are well used and in varying conditions. They are no longer needed by the City due to changes in staff or usage, or because they have exceeded their budgeted lifespan. Some items originated as evidence in criminal cases.
Those wishing to preview items and/or register to participate may do so on-site Friday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration and viewing will also be available on the morning of the auction from 7 to 9 a.m. There is no fee to register.
All auction items are sold "as is, where is," and must be picked up the same day. Bidders should be aware of the following terms:
The disposal of surplus property by the City of Yuma follows state law and the Yuma City Charter through public auctions, sealed bids, or other approved methods.
