Chief John Drake today announced the promotions of 8 MNPD veterans, effective tomorrow, to fill precinct supervisory vacancies.
New Lieutenant James Caruth, an 18-year MNPD veteran, will lead the West Precinct's overnight shift. He was formerly a supervisor at the Midtown Hills Precinct.
New Lieutenant Shaun Heath, a 16-year MNPD veteran, will lead the Midtown Hills Precinct's evening shift. Heath holds a Bachelor's Degree from Bethel University. He was formerly a supervisor in the Behavioral Health Services Division.
New Sergeant Steven Bowler, a 6-year MNPD veteran, will be a supervisor on the downtown Entertainment District Unit. Bowler holds a Bachelor's Degree from Liberty University. He formerly was a detective in the Vehicle Crimes Unit.
New Sergeant Amanda Fox, a 10-year MNPD veteran, will be a supervisor on the Hermitage Precinct's evening shift. Fox holds a Bachelor's Degree from Bethel University. She formerly worked in the Canine Unit.
New Sergeant Matthew Mrowiec, a 7-year MNPD veteran, will be a supervisor on the North Precinct's evening shift. Mrowiec holds a Bachelor's Degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. He formerly worked as a detective in the Youth Services Division.
New Sergeant Zachary Plese, an 8-year MNPD veteran, will be a supervisor on the Midtown Hills Precinct's evening shift. Plese holds a Bachelor's Degree from Western Illinois University. He formerly was a detective in the Specialized Investigations Division's Threat Assessment Unit.
New Sergeant Ciarra Rench, a 10-year MNPD veteran, will be a supervisor on the Central Precinct's day shift. Rench holds a Bachelor's Degree from Ball State University. She formerly was a detective in the Specialized Investigations Division's TITANS Unit.
New Sergeant Rachel Susee, a 7-year MNPD veteran, will be a supervisor on the Southeast Precinct's evening shift. Susse holds a Bachelor's Degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She was formerly a detective in the Non-Lethal Shooting Unit.
