New EU cybersecurity rules are here – here’s how Zaptec is ready

Cyber threats are getting smarter. So are EV chargers.

Starting August 1st, 2025, new EU rules will require all connected radio equipment, including EV chargers, to meet cybersecurity standards. It's part of an update to the Radio Equipment Directive, known as RED (EU) 2022/30.
