Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Manitoba Avenue

Released: November 17, 2025 at 9:10 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB- At 6:22 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a multi-unit house in the 500 block of Manitoba Avenue.

At the scene, crews found smoke coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire using an offensive strategy and declared the fire under control at 6:47 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The City of Winnipeg's Emergency Social Services team responded to the scene to provide temporary support to displaced residents.

The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
