Tampa Police have released police helicopter footage and CCTV footage of Sampson recklessly driving southbound on I-275, the PIT Maneuver initiated by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), as well as the final moments of the vehicle, a silver Toyota Camry, coming to a final stop in the outdoor patio area of Bradley's on 7th located on the 1500 block of E Seventh Avenue.

As a result of Sampson's reckless operation of the vehicle, four adults were killed and 13 other adults sustained injuries ranging from critical/life-threatening to minor. The victim count has increased from 15 to 17 victims, as two victims, after the initial release, self-transported to a local hospital.
FHP will identify the decedents pending the ongoing Next of Kin notifications. At the time of this release, the victims' status is as follows:
At this time, there is no evidence to indicate that Sampson's actions were targeted toward any specific persons or businesses.
We ask that you continue to keep those affected, and those mourning the tragic loss of their loved one, in your thoughts as we continue to work in partnership with FHP to seek justice for the victims and their families.
This remains an active investigation. The Florida Highway Patrol is the lead agency in the traffic crash and will be providing the remaining updates in this incident.
