One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Calaveras County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 4 (SR-4), SR-12, SR-26, and SR-49 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 4

• One-way traffic control from Bonanza Mine Way to Appaloosa Road for highway construction work beginning Monday, November 3, 2025, through Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• Long-term, one-way traffic control from Appaloosa Road to Stallion Way for pavement work through Friday, November 21, 2025.
• One-way traffic control from Darby Russell Road to Rancho Paradiso for tree work on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Big Trees Village Drive to Blue Mountain Road for tree work on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 12

• One-way traffic control from Southworth Road to Evans Road for tree work on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 26

• Long-term, one-way traffic control from Gill Haven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane for highway construction work through Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
• One-way traffic control at South Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for highway construction work beginning Monday, November 3, 2025, through Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Sandy Gulch Road to Stanley Road for tree work on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Niderost Lane to Centennial Mine Road for tree work on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 49

• One-way traffic control from Main Street to Stockton Hill Road for tree work on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Stockton Hill Road to Big Bar Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, November 4, 2025, through Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
