Ankeny Hy-Vee Employee Honored for 40 Years of Service with Picture on Semi-Trailer

ANKENY, Iowa (June 24, 2026) - The helpful smile of an Ankeny Hy-Vee employee is now featured on the side of a semi-trailer to recognize her 40 years of service at Hy-Vee.

Loria McKenna's picture was unveiled Wednesday during a celebration at the Prairie Trail Hy-Vee in Ankeny, where she serves as a floral clerk.

Hy-Vee first started featuring long-serving employees on semi-truck wraps in 1997, and it has since become a cherished tradition at the company.
