Town of Cortlandville - Crown City Solar 1, 2 & 3 Projects

Negative Declaration

Cortland County - The Town of Cortlandville Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Crown City Solar 1, 2 & 3 Projects will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the comprising of three (3) floating solar farms with photovoltaic panels and racking designed to float on an existing gravel mining pond and anchored to the floor of the pond. The proposed access road, interconnection infrastructure, and electrical equipment cabinets will be located on land adjoining the floating solar arrays within the existing industrial facility. The project is located at US Route 11, South of the Erie Lackawanna Railroad and North of the Tioughnioga River in the Town of Cortlandville, New York.
