Chinese Consul General in Brisbane Ruan Zongze Attends Special Australia-China Business Insights 2026 Briefing By KPMG

On 18 May 2026, Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze attended and addressed the special Australia-China Business Insights 2026 briefing at KPMG Brisbane office. Around 40 representatives from the Trade and Investment Queensland, ACBC Queensland, CCCA Brisbane and Chinese enterprises attended the event. Deputy Consul-General YANG Chenqi was also present.

In his remarks, Dr Ruan updated the China-US relations, the current achievements of China-Australia relations to the audience, and talked about the opportunities and challenges in the bilateral economic cooperation. He said that at the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan, China will continuously dedicate to deepen bilateral trade and investment cooperation for mutual benefits.

At the briefing, the KPMG team shared China-Australia economic outlook, and their latest Report on Chinese Investment in Australia.
