Public Notice: Proposed Lease

ADL 228904

Pursuant to AS 38.05.945

(USGS Quad Map Lime Hills C-5)

Pursuant to AS 38.05.070(b) the Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has made a Preliminary Decision to offer a 10-year lease to the Grizzly Exped LLC dba Grizzly Exped for an existing 2-acre guide site on the north shore of a remote, unnamed lake south of the Swift River, approximately 28 miles northeast of Lime Village, Alaska. The site is located within Section 36 of Township 17 North, Range 30 West, Seward Meridian.

The public is invited to review and comment on this Preliminary Decision. A copy of the Preliminary Decision can be found at https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/default.aspx. Questions concerning how to comment should be directed to Bren McIver at (907) 269-8479 or by e-mail at [email protected], or by fax to (907) 269-8913. Individuals with audio impairments who wish to respond to this Preliminary Decision by telephone may call Relay Alaska at 711 or (800) 770-8973 for assistance at no cost.

All comments must be received in writing at the above listed mailing address or e-mail on or before 11:59 PM on May 14, 2026. To be eligible to appeal DNR's Final Finding and Decision, under AS 38.05.035(i)-(m), a person must have submitted written comments during this comment period.
