Feel The Noise! Quiet Riot Returns to The Great New York State Fair

The iconic heavy metal band that made history as the first to top the Billboard Top 200 chart is making a raucous return to the Great New York State Fair this summer! Concertgoers are invited to the Chevy Court Stage at 6 p.m. on Opening Day, Wednesday, August 26, to experience legendary rockers Quiet Riot perform their signature hits and fan-favorite classic rock anthems.

Originally formed in Los Angeles in the early 1970s, Quiet Riot reformed in 1980 and skyrocketed to international fame with the release of their 1983 album, Metal Health. The band made a memorable appearance at The Fair in 2023, delivering their biggest hits over the years, including "Don't Wanna Let You Go," "Mama Weer All Crazee Now," and their chart-topping smash "Cum On Feel the Noize," which has appeared in numerous TV shows, movies, and the Broadway musical Rock of Ages.

"Quiet Riot brought a party the last time they performed at The Fair," said Fair Director Julie LaFave. "We're excited to welcome them back on Opening Day to get the crowds energized and set the tone for an unforgettable 2026!"

The Fair starts Wednesday, August 26, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. All concerts are included in the price of admission, which will go on sale later this summer. The Great New York State Fair is the most affordable state fair in the country. Tickets are $8 for adults while admission is free for children under 12 and senior citizens aged 65 and older.

In total, The Fair's 2026 Chevrolet Music Series will feature 41 national recording acts. There will be a daily 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. concert at Chevy Court (located near Gate 1), and an 8 p.m. concert each evening at Suburban Park (located on the western end of the Fairgrounds, beyond the Midway). The Fair will also host two special shows at 9 p.m. on Friday, August 28 and September 4 at Chevy Court.
