Mayor Bhalla, Assemblyman Allen thank Christine Stoll for service to Hoboken & 32nd District

Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and Assemblyman John Allen today praised Christine Stoll for her dedicated public service to the City of Hoboken and 32nd Legislative District over the past two years. Stoll will be departing from her role as Chief of Staff to Mayor Bhalla and Assemblyman Allen to begin a new role in the private sector, on Monday, Jan. 5.

"Christine brought unmatched professionalism, integrity, and work ethic to her role in City Hall, and her contributions have been invaluable to our successes in Hoboken," said Mayor Bhalla. "Christine is a true leader - someone who consistently set a high bar, delivered results with humility, and served as an example for others. Any executive or organization would be well served to have her on their team. Christine has an extremely bright future, and I wish her nothing but the best as she transitions to her next role."

"I can confidently say that Christine was one of the most effective Chiefs of Staff in the entire State Legislature," said Assemblyman Allen. "From successfully passing legislation, securing millions of dollars in state funding, to compassionately caring for our constituents, Christine continually demonstrated exceptional leadership in every way possible. It is not an understatement to say she was the best partner in government I could ask for, and will be an extraordinary asset to her next team. I have no doubt she will continue to make a meaningful impact, and sincerely thank her for her public service."

Stoll began her role as Chief of Staff to Assemblyman Allen in January, 2024. Following her hiring as Chief of Staff to Mayor Bhalla in February, 2025, Stoll transitioned to part-time Chief of Staff in the Assembly.

In her previous public service roles in New York State government, Stoll served as Director of Special Events for Governor Kathy Hochul. In this position, she oversaw high-profile initiatives and directed statewide events to advance the Governor's agenda. She also served as Chief of Staff to New York Assemblyman Mike Miller and as a staff member for New York City Councilwoman Elizabeth Crowley.

Stoll was also previously elected by her constituents as a District Leader in Queens where she represented over 30,000 constituents, and participated in the development of 21 in '21, a non-profit organization focused on empowering and electing more women to the New York City Council, now known as The New Majority NYC.

She also currently serves on the New Jersey City University President's Community Advisory Council.
