TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - I-95/Rt 896 Upcoming Closures

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces daytime lane closure on northbound I-95 for truck access (Mon. - Thu.). On southbound SR 896 there will be daytime lane and turn lane closures for milling and paving (Mon. - Thu.). There will also be overnight lane closures on northbound and southbound SR 896 and overnight turn lane closures at the intersection of SR 896 and Old Baltimore Pike (Mon.).

I-95 AND RAMP IMPACTS

· Monday, March 30th through Thursday, April 2nd: Daytime Lane Closure, Northbound I-95, from the Rt 896 Interchange to the Welcome Center. (9AM - 6PM)

· Monday, March 30th:Overnight Lane Closure, Southbound I-95 off ramp to Southbound Rt 896 (7PM - 7AM)

Rt 896 IMPACTS

· Monday, March 30th through Thursday, April 2nd: Daytime Lane Closure, Southbound Rt 896, W. Chestnut Hill Road to I-95 Interchange (7AM - 5PM)

· Monday, March 30th through Thursday, April 2nd:Daytime Turn Lane Closure, Southbound Rt 896 at the Welsh Tract Road Intersection (7AM - 5PM)

· Monday, March 30th: Overnight Lane Closure, Northbound and Southbound Rt 896, from the I-95 Interchange to Glasgow High School (10PM - 6AM)

· Monday, March 30th: Overnight Turn Lane Closures, Rt 896 and Old Baltimore Pike Intersection, (10PM - 6AM)
