FORT WORTH, Texas - American Airlines is supporting relief efforts in response to the recent earthquakes in Venezuela with a call for fundraising to provide aid to those affected in Caracas, La Guaira and surrounding regions.
American is working with its nonprofit partners to offer assistance as they begin to mobilize their response and relief efforts.
American's operation at Simon Bolivar International Airport (CCS) is currently scheduled to resume on July 3 once the airport reopens.
To provide additional flexibility and assistance, American has capped fares for all direct flights departing to and from CCS and has issued a travel alert, allowing customers whose travel plans are affected to rebook without fees, cancel or receive a refund.
