After a years-long review process, Fresno Pacific University's business programs have earned accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), an internationally recognized accrediting organization dedicated to excellence in business education.
The accreditation process required a comprehensive review of every aspect of the business programs, from curriculum and assessment to faculty development and student outcomes. The achievement reflects FPU's commitment to providing high-quality business programs that prepare students for success in today's workforce.
Students pursuing business degrees at Fresno Pacific University can now graduate with the added confidence that their degree is backed by internationally recognized standards of excellence. All programs accredited by the ACBSP are designed to ensure students gain relevant knowledge, practical skills and ethical leadership principles.
"Receiving ACBSP accreditation is an important milestone for Fresno Pacific University," said Michelle Bradford, Psy.D., dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. "It affirms the quality of our business programs and our commitment to preparing students to become effective leaders, innovative thinkers and professionals who make a positive impact in their communities."
The accreditation also strengthens the value of an FPU business degree by demonstrating that FPU's business programs have undergone rigorous external review and meet high standards of educational quality. Employers, graduate schools and community partners can have added confidence that students who earn a business degree from FPU have received an excellent business education.
Fresno Pacific University is one of only 18 California institutions with ACBSP-accredited business programs and the only Christian university in the Central Valley to hold that distinction.
