On Saturday, October 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Healing Arts Chicago 2026 Summit returns to Malcolm X College (1900 W. Jackson Blvd.) for a free day centered on creativity, connection and the many ways art supports well-being. Open to the public, the summit will welcome artist and activist Tricia Hersey, founder of The Nap Ministry, to deliver the keynote address. .
Throughout the event, attendees can move through hands-on experiences such as yoga, dance, screen printing, visual journaling and sound healing, while joining conversations about how creative practices are strengthening community health and informing policy and care systems across Chicago.
