The City of Mountain View will make improvements to numerous streets in mid-April as part of the City's SB-1 Street Resurfacing Project.
To improve the appearance and condition of the streets, a "slurry seal" will be applied to the roadways. A slurry seal is made up of asphalt and finely crushed rock, which helps protect streets from damage caused by traffic and weather.
Pending weather conditions or other circumstances, the street improvement project will take place on Wednesday, April 15, through Friday, April 17. The streets scheduled to receive the pavement maintenance treatment are:
Wednesday, April 15
Thursday, April 16
Friday, April 17
Be aware that the roads will be closed to traffic and traffic flow will be affected while the slurry sealing work is underway. "No Parking" signs will be posted when work is scheduled to be completed, and traffic will be limited from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on the day of application.
