Conservation in Action Expo - Saturday, Oct. 11

- Time: 9 am to 3 pm
- Location: The Wilderness Station at Barfield Park
Visit with natural resource professionals from more than 20 natural resource-focused agencies and organizations about the work that they do, shop for native plants for your garden, learn about Central Basin ecology, take a hike with a naturalist, watch a demonstration, and discover local citizen science projects and volunteer stewardship opportunities -- all in one place!
At the Expo:
- Activities and Exhibits: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Native Plant Sale: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Nature book signings in the morning
- Nature walks: Morning and afternoon.
- Native plant garden tours: Morning and afternoon.
- Food Trucks: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
