WVU president, provost to visit State Fair on West Virginia Day

WHAT: West Virginia University President Michael T. Benson will attend the State Fair of West Virginia as part of West Virginia Day.
WHO: President Benson; Beverly Wendland, provost and vice president for academic affairs; Jorge Atiles, dean, WVU Extension and Engagement in the WVU Division for Land-Grant Engagement; WVU Extension representatives, and other members of the University community
WHEN: Thursday, Aug. 20, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
WHERE: State Fair of West Virginia Fairgrounds, Fairlea
NOTES: During the visit, the WVU contingent will participate in State Fair activities at the WVU Building, and view the WVU Extension 4-H exhibits in the Cecil H. Underwood Youth Center and 4-H youth livestock activities in the barns.
