I-105 Express Lanes Project

Construction is starting along the I-105 between I-710 and Central Av.

A series of nighttime directional full freeway closures is scheduled along the I-105 over seven nights from November 6 through November 18.

These closures on the I-105 are being implemented to perform the restriping of lanes to establish work zones along the corridor for future construction.

Anticipated Dates and Locations:

November 6, 8, and 9 - Closure of eastbound I-105 within a location between I-110 Fwy to I-710 Fwy.

November 12, 16, 17, and 18 - Closure of Westbound I-105 within a location between Garfield Av and Central Av.

Freeway lane reductions will begin as early as 8pm, followed by directional full freeway closures from 12am to 4am.

Corresponding freeway ramps and connector ramps will also be closed as needed to safely perform the work. Additional future work activities will follow the restriping work, which will include the installation concrete barriers, tree and landscape removal at select locations, and outer roadway grinding work among other activities.

Construction is dynamic, and work schedules are subject to change based on the progress of work and weather conditions.
