Week In Review: From Toxic Algae to Supporting our Veterans

Before we get into policy and work in Washington this week, I would like to take a moment and reflect, remembering 9/11 and now the loss of my friend, Charlie Kirk. No matter the political opinion or ideology, this is a time where now more than ever, I hope we can once again stand together as a united America.

In Washington, it was a busy week, where I spoke with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers about how we can best protect our communities and Army personnel from toxic water and algae blooms. We passed the TRANSPORT Act to help support our veterans and our economy. And I met with the Department of War's Under Secretary for Personnel and Readiness and a Florida 21st constituent, Anthony Tata on military readiness and military among much more.
