Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare Simulation Workshop

This two-day, in-person workshop provides a comprehensive, hands-on exploration of evidence-based healthcare simulation with a focused integration of artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Participants will review current simulation standards, ethical principles, and professional resources; examine theoretical frameworks that guide simulation practice; and apply best practices through guided scenario development. The agenda emphasizes practical application, including incorporating AI and VR into simulation design, accessing quality resources, engaging with vendors, and developing and presenting at least one AI-enhanced simulation scenario with feedback.

Target Audience: Nursing faculty, Healthcare faculty, and simulationists

Date: April 16-17, 2026, 8:30 am - 4:15 pm
