Van Orden Applauds President Trump for Securing Release of Israeli Hostages

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Derrick Van Orden today released the following statement after President Donald J. Trump secured the release of all remaining living Israeli hostages held by Hamas:

"Today, every living Israeli hostage held by Hamas is safely home, a historic achievement made possible by President Trump's leadership. Twenty hostages will finally be reunited with their families after more than two years in captivity. To the families of those whose loved ones were taken from them by Hamas savages, may their memory be a blessing.

"I will always stand with Israel and the Jewish people. We must never forget the horrors of October 7, honor Israel's resilience, and remain steadfast in confronting hatred and violence across our world. President Trump's peace through strength has delivered real results and shown the world what true leadership looks like."
