Digi International Receives 2026 IoT Evolution Product of the Year Award

MINNEAPOLIS, October 28, 2026 - Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII, www.digi.com), a leading global provider of Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity products, services and solutions, announced that Tachyon from Particle by Digi has been named a 2026 IoT Evolution Product of the Year Award winner by IoT Evolution World, the leading online source for IoT technologies.

Recognized for its innovation, Tachyon is a credit-card-sized single-board computer (SBC) that combines 5G connectivity and AI acceleration. It is powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing12 processor with an on-board AI accelerator delivering 12 trillion operations per second (TOPS), and it runs Ubuntu Linux. Tachyon gives teams a production-ready board for real-time vision and audio inference on the device. Tachyon joined the Digi portfolio following Digi's acquisition of Particle earlier this year.

It comes in two variants: 4 GB RAM with 64 GB flash, and 8 GB RAM with 128 GB flash. Tachyon is available to order now at store.particle.io, and through Digi-Key and Mouser.
