Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, May 4 - May 15, 2026

HANNIBAL - The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.

Audrain County

Route EE - May 14 - 15, CLOSED for patching operations from CR 140 to Missouri Route 151 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Clark County

Route K - May 11 - 12, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from Meadow Avenue to Route NN between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route K - May 13, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from Route NN to Route N between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route K - May 14, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from Route N to CR 116 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route P - May 6 - 7, CLOSED for patching operations from Route K in Clark County to the Iowa State line between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Route NN - May 11, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 12 to CR 41 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Lincoln County

Missouri Route 47 - May 6 - 7, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from East Cherry Street to Autumn Oaks Drive between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Macon County

Route V - May 4 - 5, CLOSED for patching operations from Onyx Avenue to Mahogany Street between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route V - May 6, CLOSED for patching operations from Mahogany Street to Oxford Street between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route V - May 7, CLOSED for patching operations from Oxford Street to Route PP between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Marion County

U.S. Route 24 (Outer Road) - May 7, CLOSED for patching operations from CR 313 to Missouri Route 6 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Missouri Route 79 Northbound (Mark Twain Avenue) - April 22 - July 1, CLOSED for Hannibal stormwater construction project from North Street to Reservoir Street beginning Wednesday, April 22nd at 12:00 a.m. through Wednesday, July 1st at 12:00 a.m.

Missouri Route 168 - May 6, CLOSED for patching operations from Route Z in Shelby County to Route D in Marion County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route D - May 4, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 156 to Missouri Route 168 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route M - May 5, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route D to Route A between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Pike County

Route AB - May 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route F to CR 20 in Pike County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Ralls County

Route C - May 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route P to Madisonville Road between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route J - March 13 - June 26, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route EE continuing south to the end of the Clarence Cannon Dam bridge beginning Friday, March 13th at 7:00 a.m. through Friday, June 26th at 4:00 p.m. However, the bridge will be open to traffic beginning at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 22nd until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26th for the Memorial Day weekend.

Route P - May 5, CLOSED for seal coat operations from U.S. Route 54 to Route K between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route P - May 6 - 7, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 19 to Route K between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route W - May 12, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route J to U.S. Route 24 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route AB - May 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route F to CR 20 in Pike County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route FF - May 11, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Brison Drive to U.S. Route 61 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route JJ - May 13, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route P to Madisonville Road between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Missouri Route 3 - May 5, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Route U to CR 2075 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Route C - May 6 - 7, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from North Tower Avenue to Missouri Route 136 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route C - May 11 - 12, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repair operations from North Tower Avenue to Route N between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Route JJ - May 13 - 14, CLOSED for patching operations from Route B in Scotland County to Route N in Schuyler County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Scotland County

Missouri Route 15 - May 4, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from the Iowa State line to Missouri Route 136 at Memphis between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Missouri Route 15 - May 5, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Missouri Route 136 at Memphis to the Knox County line between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Route P - May 6 - 7, CLOSED for patching operations from Route K in Clark County to the Iowa State line between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Route JJ - May 13 - 14, CLOSED for patching operations from Route B to Route N between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Shelby County

Missouri Route 168 - May 6, CLOSED for patching operations from Route Z in Shelby County to Route D in Marion County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
