Know Before You Go - May 20, 2026 City Council Special Meeting Reminders

Please review the following reminders before attending the May 20, 2026 City Council Special Meeting at City Hall regarding the Metro Bus Rapid Transit Project (BRT) and Senate Bill 79.

• Chamber doors open at 2:15PM. Meeting begins at 3PM.
• Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited.
• ADA Accessible elevator is available in the rear entrance of City Hall.
• All other guests are asked to use the Third Street entrance.
• Once City Hall reaches capaciy guests will be asked to wait outside of City Hall until their turn to speak during the public comment period.

Special Meeting Public Comment
Update on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Senate Bill 79
**This is the only period of public comment near the beginning of the meeting. Comments accepted in-person and via telephone (818) 238-3335. No additional cards or calls are accepted once the public comment period begins.

Speaker Time Limits
There will only be 1 period of public comment. Participants may speak in person or by calling (818) 238-3335. Speaker times may vary based on the total number of participants:

• 1-20 speakers = 3 minutes each
• 21-39 speakers = 2 minutes each
• 40+ speakers = 1 minute each
