The Commodore Barry Bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction Monday, October 27 through Friday, October 31 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Motorists are advised to use caution in the work zone and allow for additional travel time.
The adjustment is related to the $220 million rehabilitation project for the bridge that is focused on preserving and enhancing this critical transportation link between Chester, PA and Bridgeport, NJ. This large-scale endeavor, slated for completion in early 2028, aims to prevent deterioration and ensure long-term safety and reliability of the bridge's steel components.
