Advance care planning webinar: Nov. 10

• Time/location: Second Tuesday of each month at 1 pm via webinar.
• Details: Advance care planning refers to making decisions about your healthcare in the future, if, due to injury or illness, you cannot express these wishes yourself. It is important for adults of all ages to plan for future medical needs now because a serious accident or illness can happen at any age.

Virtual grief support group: Nov. 10

• Time/location: Second Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted), 6:30 to 7:30 pm, via virtual meeting.
• Details: This free event helps those left behind understand and manage their grief as they move forward toward hope. It provides a safe and supportive place to share stories confidentially with others who understand their experiences.

Lung Cancer Screening Day lung screening: Nov. 14

• Time/location: 8 am to noon at TidalHealth Mears Campus, 100 Rawlins Drive, Seaford, DE 19973
• Details: High-risk current and former smokers can receive a low-dose CT lung screening. To be considered high risk, you must be 50 to 80 years old and have a 20 pack-year smoking history. A doctor's order is also required. Most insurance plans are accepted, and financial assistance may be available for those without coverage.

Community Wellness Walk: Nov. 7

• Details: TidalHealth Community Wellness Walks encourage physical activity while allowing community members to connect, learn from one another and celebrate the diversity that strengthens Delmarva. Diabetes Awareness Event: Nov. 9
