The Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) restored operations to retrieve and serve court-issued documents that were issued by the court on Monday, October 26, 2026. Future court-issued documents will be processed according to the BNC's normal noticing schedule. However, the BNC is still processing a backlog of court-issued documents that were issued between October 9 and October 23, 2026, inclusive. The BNC currently projects that it will finish retrieving the backlogged court-issued documents by October 31, 2026, and the BNC will serve those notices promptly after they are retrieved from the court.
On October 27, 2026, the Bankruptcy Court issued General Order 26-3 to clarify parties' ongoing noticing responsibilities and to protect parties as much as possible from any prejudice attributable to the BNC's service interruption. Under that order, the supplemental notice and service requirements and other temporary provisions set forth in paragraphs 4 through 12 of General Order 26-2:
a. Remain effective for court-issued documents filed on October 9 through October 23, 2026, inclusive, and
b. Are terminated for court-issued documents filed on and after October 26, 2026.
BNC websites and other functions have also been restored, including the National Creditor Registration Service website that supports CM/ECF access to address labels with parties' preferred addresses.
See the order for additional details.
