November 4, 2026, marks the beginning of a new election cycle. For reporting purposes, campaigns aggregate receipts and disbursements on an election cycle basis. As a result, all 2026 campaigns must separate (both in their internal records and on their FEC reports) activity that occurred on or after November 4 from activity that occurred prior to that date. The campaigns will disclose their separate election-cycle receipts and disbursements on the Post-Election Detailed Summary Page required with the 30-Day Post-General Report, which is due December 3 (or for campaigns that were not in the general election, with the Year-End Report due January 31). For more information on winding down your 2026 campaign, consider attending our webinar on Wednesday, November 18.
