Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony Scheduled For Thursday, May 21

Public Invited To Remember Fallen Officers At Police Memorial Park

The city of Las Vegas, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation will host the annual Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Police Memorial Park, 3250 Metro Academy Way.

The ceremony recognizes and honors law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. The ceremony will include a 21-gun salute and the reading of the names of fallen officers.

Mayor Shelley Berkley, Sheriff Kevin McMahill and Ward 4 Councilwoman Francis Allen-Palenske are scheduled to attend the event.
