The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing bridge work will be performed over Route 9 over Aircraft Road in Middletown. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, August 9 to Friday, September 4, 2026. This project ensures the bridge remains in a state of good repair.
This project is being performed by CTDOT Bridge Maintenance.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Route 9 lane closures are to be expected throughout the duration of this project. The scheduled nightly work hours for this project are Sunday evening to Friday morning from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Traffic control signage patterns will guide motorists through the work zone.
