City of Mesa Encourages Residents to Prepare for Additional Storms

With rain already falling and more in the forecast this week, the City of Mesa is encouraging residents to monitor weather conditions and take steps now to prepare for potential storm impacts.

BE PREPARED

Residents are encouraged to:
•Pick up sandbags early. Sandbags are available at multiple locations: mesaaz.gov/Public-Safety/Emergencies/Sandbags
•Secure outdoor furniture, decorations and other loose items.
•Keep phones and other essential devices charged.
•Avoid washes, retention basins and low-water crossings during storms.
•Never drive through flooded roadways or moving water.
•Monitor weather conditions and official City communication channels for updates.
