Long Beach Airport Launches Online Parking Reservations

Long Beach, CA - Long Beach Airport (LGB) continues to make traveling easier with the launch of a new parking reservation system. Travelers can now plan ahead to secure their parking spaces in advance and enjoy a seamless start to their journey. This new reservation system is making the going even easier at lgb.org/parking.

"Long Beach Airport is known for delivering a first-class, easygoing travel experience, and with the launch of online parking reservations, that experience just got even easier," said Mayor Rex Richardson. "This new amenity not only improves parking operations-it saves travelers valuable time and reflects our commitment to innovation and convenience."

The Airport's Parking and Directions webpage now links to a reservation tool powered by LAZ Parking. Travelers can easily set their entry and exit dates, select their preferred parking structure and pay for parking prior to arrival. After booking their reservation, customers will receive a QR code to scan upon entering the reserved parking structure-no paper ticket needed.

Parking options include Parking Structure A at $30 per day or Parking Structure B at $25 per day. Both facilities are conveniently located within a short walk from the Ticketing Lobby. During peak travel periods, Parking Structure A may not be available for online bookings, but adequate parking is readily available in Parking Structure B.

Travelers may reserve parking no later than one hour before arrival and up to a year in advance. Reservations may be canceled up to two hours prior to the reservation time. A convenience fee will apply to each reservation.

"The ease and affordability of our parking options stand out in the industry," said Airport Director Cynthia Guidry. "The launch of the online reservation system ensures an even more seamless journey from the moment passengers arrive at the Airport."

The ability to reserve parking directly on the Airport website comes after the recent introduction of FlyMyAirport, a flight planning tool that allows users to easily search for and find nonstop and connecting flights to and from LGB. For the first time, travelers can now book parking, flights, rental cars and vacation packages directly from lgb.org.
