SPD Investigators are seeking the publics' help to identify several suspects in a recent arson. It happened in early August in the 1600 block of east Mission. The fire damaged several apple trees, a cherry tree, and a number of lavender plants, among other things. Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
On August 3rd, 2025, just before 2:00pm, the Spokane Fire Department (SFD) responded to the report of a fire in the 1600 block of East Mission Ave. where several homes are located. The next day it was reported to the Spokane Police Department (SPD) there was video of three, possibly juvenile, males involved in setting the fire. A still of the video is attached at the bottom of this release.
Suspect 1 is wearing gray shorts, a dark t-shirt with "Shot call-er M" in yellow writing. Suspect 2 is wearing Adidas-style pants with three white stripes down the leg, a yellow T-shirt with gray sleeves. Suspect 3 is wearing possibly white plaid shorts, a black top with red accents and some writing on the front. All three males have short haircuts and appear to be young teenagers.
