Origin Bank Promotes Austin Lewis to North Texas Regional President

Origin Bank today announced Austin Lewis has been promoted to the role of North Texas regional president. For the past 16 years, Lewis has dedicated his time at Origin to building relationships and serving customers. He has specialized in commercial and private banking strategies for middle-market operating companies and high-net-worth individuals, as well as local and national real estate companies.

In his new position, Lewis will oversee Origin's North Texas region, including its commercial, private banking, retail and treasury management teams. He will be responsible for the region's performance, banking centers, strategic growth initiatives, talent development, credit discipline and client outcomes, while cultivating an exceptional experience for the bank's customers and employees.

Lewis joined Origin in 2010 as a retail relationship banker and has since held roles in commercial portfolio management and commercial lending, most recently as executive vice president and commercial group manager. Throughout his career, he has focused on driving strategic growth, building and mentoring high-performing teams, maintaining strong credit discipline and strengthening client relationships through comprehensive, multi-product financial solutions.

Lewis earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Louisiana State University and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU. He is actively involved in the Dallas community, serving on the boards of Family Gateway and Community Partners of Dallas, as well as on the Treasure Street board for Scottish Rite for Children. He and his wife, Mackenzie, a Dallas native, have three sons. Lewis maintains an office at Origin's Dallas Financial Center, located at 3838 Oak Lawn Avenue in Dallas.
