Deluzio Votes ‘No’ on Funding Bill that Fails to Cancel GOP Healthcare Cuts or Lower Costs for Americans Struggling to Pay for Healthcare

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) voted against the Republican partisan spending bill. His statement on the vote is below:

"I refused to support this partisan Republican spending bill because it continues to slash healthcare for Americans who are already getting pounded with high costs.

"My fellow veterans are also dealing with privatization and other attacks on our VA healthcare from the Trump Administration: this Republican funding bill does nothing to change that.

"A responsible government funding bill should cancel the Republicans' foolish healthcare cuts, take on rising healthcare costs, and do something to save healthcare for hardworking people."
