Celebration of the State Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, Tajikistan's diplomatic missions and consular institutions abroad held celebratory events.

The events highlighted Tajikistan's achievements over the years of independence, as well as the contribution of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, to the country's development and growing role on the international stage.

On September 8, 2026, the Consulate General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Novosibirsk held a celebratory event marking the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by representatives of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region and Novosibirsk city authorities, the diplomatic corps, representatives of public and cultural organizations, compatriots living abroad, Tajik students, and the Tajik community residing in the region.

On 9 September 2026, in Kuala Lumpur, the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Malaysia, the Republic of Indonesia and the Kingdom of Thailand hosted an official reception dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by high-ranking guests from the Government of Malaysia, including the Minister of Law and Institutional Reform, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malaysia, Tan Sri Johari bin Abdul, the Deputy President of the Senate of Malaysia, Senator Datuk Seri Utama Nur Jazlan bin Mohamed, members of the royal families of Selangor, Perlis and Johor, representatives of other ministries and government agencies, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Kuala Lumpur; representatives of the private sector, media, academic and cultural institutions, and the Tajik community residing in Malaysia; as well as business representatives from Tajikistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore.

On 9 September 2026, an official reception was held in Paris at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the French Republic to mark the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, ambassadors and other members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Paris, representatives of international organisations, members of the French business, academic and cultural communities, as well as Tajik compatriots residing in France.
