Western & Southern Financial Group will help bring the magic of BLINK® illuminated by ArtsWave to Lytle Park Oct. 8-11, transforming the downtown Cincinnati park with light-based installations from artists and studios from around the world.
Western & Southern will serve as title sponsor of BLINK at Lytle Park, part of the festival's Fountain Square zone. Visitors will experience four installations throughout the 2.8-acre park, including one that will remain after BLINK ends.
The nation's largest light and art event returns to Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for four nights, bringing projection mapping, interactive light installations and murals to public spaces throughout the urban core.
Throughout the four-night event, visitors to the park will experience:
At the center of the park, Allium will transform the Lytle Park fountain with a sculptural sphere featuring 480 illuminated flowers made of steel, wood and acrylic.
For the first time, a light-based sculptural installation from BLINK will remain in place beyond the festival.
Allium will stay at Lytle Park into the winter months while the fountain is turned off, extending the experience for residents and visitors to enjoy throughout the season.
"Lytle Park is an important gathering place in our neighborhood, and BLINK gives us an opportunity to help people experience it in a new way," said John Barrett, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Western & Southern Financial Group. "Great public spaces give people reasons to come together, and we're pleased to extend that experience beyond BLINK and give people another reason to enjoy Lytle Park throughout the season."
Western & Southern's connection to Lytle Park stretches back decades. The company helped preserve the 2.8-acre park during construction of I-71 and, most recently, contributed $3.2 million toward its revitalization. The park reopened in 2024, creating a renewed gathering space in one of Cincinnati's oldest neighborhoods.
Bringing BLINK to Lytle Park represents another chapter in that relationship and reflects Western & Southern's broader commitment to supporting the places, organizations and experiences that contribute to a vibrant Greater Cincinnati.
BLINK® illuminated by ArtsWave is the nation's largest public light and art event. The biennial celebration spans Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, bringing public spaces and some of the region's most recognizable architecture to life through projection mapping, interactive light installations and murals created by local, national and international artists.
Since its debut in 2017, BLINK has grown into one of the region's largest events. In 2024, the festival stretched across more than 30 city blocks, crossed the Ohio River into Covington and drew more than 2 million people.
BLINK returns Oct. 8-11, 2026, with more than 80 large-scale projection mappings, light-based installations and murals throughout the urban core.
